Alexis Petrucci joins her former coaches on the sidelines this year after finishing her playing days in the Blue and Gold, and leaving her mark in the record books.

She ended her career at La Salle tied for the most games played at La Salle (74) and is also in the top 10 on the career list in Goals (7th - 16), Points (7th - 38), Shots (6th - 141), and Games Started (4th - 72). After the 2005 season, Petrucci was named to the Atlantic 10 All-Conference Second Team after scoring five goals and tallying two assists as a senior, which included a game-winner in a 2-1 victory over host Marshall at the Green and White Invitational (Sept. 9) and later, she was named to the All-Tournament Team.

Other highlights of her career as an Explorer include, her four-game goal scoring streak in 2004, a two-goal game in a 4-0 win over Towson (Sept. 1, 2002) and starting in every game the last three seasons. Her 54 shots in 2004 also rank her ninth for most shots in a season at La Salle.

During her high school days, Petrucci was named the 2001 Most Valuable Player of the Philadelphia Catholic League's Northern Division, earned All-Catholic honors three times in her career and helped her Eastern PA State team to a national championship. She was also a two-time Bishop McDevitt team MVP.
