Men's Soccer Joe Gouryeb Ranks among Army ROTC's Best Cadets

PHILADELPHIA, PA- Cadet Joseph J. Gouryeb of Drexel's program is a consortium of several institutions among which include Drexel as the host institution and La Salle, UPENN, and This prestigious award, which is given annually, is presented to the most outstanding cadet in the Army ROTC program at
Cadet Gouryeb will officially be honored with Army ROTC's other top cadets at a conference in April 2008 on the campus of Virginia Military Institute. The award is named in honor of Army General George C. Marshall. General Marshall served as the Chief of Staff of the Army during World War II as well as the secretary of both state and defense in the years following World War II. He was the author of the restorative Marshall Plan and the only career soldier to be awarded the Nobel Peace Prize. |
