Recreational and Athletic Facilities

La Salle University Hayman Center Guest Policy

Students, Faculty, and Staff with current, valid La Salle University ID, are allowed to invite guests, but must accompany their guests while in the facility. Only two guests per day are allowed, and there is no cost involved. Each guest must sign a waiver.

The host/sponsor is responsible for orientating all guests to facility policies and will be held accountable for their actions. Any guest found guilty of damaging property or violating any La Salle University policy will lose privileges immediately. The host/sponsor will be accountable for damages

  • Three 94-by-50 foot basketball floors or six 65-by-45 small floors
  • Two regulation volleyball courts

2nd Floor

  • Office level

1st Floor

  • Pool level
  • Six-lane, 25 yard pool
  • Diving well with 2 three-meter and 2 one-meter diving boards

Lower Level

  • Locker room level
  • Equipment room check out desk
  • Squash court (one single)
  • Training room
  • Weight room

Admission to Hayman Hall

A current and valid student, staff, or faculty identification card is required for admission into the facility.

Athletic Fields and Other Facilities

Adjacent to Hayman Hall is the:

  • Belfield Tennis Complex complete with six lighted tennis courts.
  • McCarthy Stadium features a football/soccer field surrounded by a six lane, one-quarter mile all weather track.
  • DeVincent Field includes the Baseball and Field Hockey fields.
  • Good Shepherd field includes the Intramural Athletic Fields and the Varsity Softball Field.

Attached to the rear of Neumann Hall is a fitness center that contains an extensive array of Nautilus, Universal, free weight and cardiovascular exercise equipment. There are also two small locker rooms but no showers.

La Salle offers a wide range of recreational and competitive athletic activities. There is an appropriate level of activity for nearly every La Salle student, faculty or staff ranging from varsity competition to free recreation. In addition, there are a few popular instructional programs offered in Aerobic Dance, Karate, Swimming, Lifesaving and CPR.
